My Journey in Africa!

Hello!

First of all, IM FULLY FUNDED! Thank you so much for the support both financially and through prayer. I am so blessed and grateful for all of you!

Training camp started January 15th and is going until January 25th. I have seen God move through both me and others throughout this camp and am so excited for the travel days ahead!

Adventures in Missions is a very Holy Spirit led organization. The worship is spirit led and not always planned, and prayer is a constant before every message and meal. It’s refreshing and very enjoyable. I would love prayers of confidence and comfort as I am very out of my comfort zone. I am not used to the climate (always super cold), sleeping in the same room with 60-ish gals, and waking up so early. But it’s been a fruitful time, and I am very grateful for this opportunity.

Every day consists of multiple sessions on topics like identity, cultural competence, evangelism, and other lessons that will help us in the field. It has definitely changed my perspective on multiple things including the Holy Spirit’s role in each of our individual lives.

We leave on the 25th and are having a 9 hour lay-over in Istanbul. I’ve never been to Turkey so I’m so excited and will hopefully be able to get a token of my short time there. After we land in South Africa, we will have a 9-hour bus ride to our location where we will have an orientation on the culture.

I’m very excited for what God has in store for me and for the ministries we’re working with. I’m praying for all of my supporters and if you have any individual prayer requests, I would love to hear them.

Blessings!
